Our History

Belgian Butter Design (BBD) has a rich and storied history that reflects its growth and innovation over the years. Founded in 1932 in Wevelgem and now a global player in the industry.

In 1932 the company started processing butter in Wevelgem. Also during the Second World War it continued distributing butter rolls in Flanders.

In 1953 the family’s second generation moved the company to Kortrijk.

In the mid-eighties the present generation family members expanded the company and started distributing other dairy products.
